Being Health Questions
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have always had an interest in mental health. My father was a psychiatrist and some of my early research in undergrad focused on the mind/body connections, particularly on inflammatory pathways and their connection to depression. I aim to connect with my patients prior to their sessions to make their journey pleasant and full of intention and focus on making sure they are safe and monitored in our clinic.
Do you have experience working with any specific types of patients?
My experience is quite broad, working in the Emergency Department, where we see acute psychiatric and medical conditions. At Being Health, I primarily see patients undergoing interventional treatments for a variety of conditions, including treatment-resistant depression.
What do you find most interesting about Being Health's integrated care model?
Being Health’s integrated care model stands out to me because it prioritizes a comprehensive view of the patient. Integrating collaborative care with lab testing and emerging treatment approaches creates a more complete and individualized model of mental health care.
What’s your favorite thing to do for self care?
Cooking for my friends and family, catching a fun action movie, and hitting the gym when I can find the time.
