Shannon Mostafiz is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with expertise in integrative psychiatry, consciousness-based mental health, trauma-informed care, and ketamine-assisted treatment. Since 2019, she has supported more than 10,000 ketamine treatment sessions and has extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and treatment-resistant mental health concerns.
Her approach integrates mental health care with parts-based work such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapies, meditation, and other holistic modalities. Shannon is also a doctoral student in Transpersonal Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where her interests include consciousness, non-ordinary states, and their relationship to psychological healing within psychiatry.

What can you share that would be relevant to prospective patients?
I bring together psychopharmacology with trauma-informed, somatic, relational, and integrative approaches to better understand the whole person.
