Being Health Questions
What should a new client know about working with you?
My goal is to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, safe, heard, and actively involved in their care. Whether someone is coming in for anxiety, chronic pain, depression, or another health concern, I believe treatment starts with understanding the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms. Every treatment plan is individualized, and I strive to help patients feel relaxed, supported, and empowered throughout the healing process.
Do you have experience working with any specific types of patients?
Over the past decade, I've had the opportunity to work with a very diverse patient population across a variety of settings. I've treated people experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, trauma-related symptoms, chronic pain, sports injuries, digestive disorders, fertility challenges, and complex medical conditions. I also have experience caring for patients who are new to acupuncture and may feel nervous or uncertain, helping them feel safe and comfortable during treatment.
What can you share that would be relevant to prospective patients?
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing patients become more connected to their own resilience over time. While many people initially seek acupuncture for physical symptoms, they often discover improvements in sleep, mood, stress resilience, and overall well-being as treatment progresses. I believe healing is a collaborative process, and I enjoy partnering with patients to help them achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their health.
What do you find most interesting about Being Health's integrated care model?
What excites me most about Being Health is the opportunity to work alongside psychiatrists, therapists, and other clinicians within a truly collaborative model of care. Mental and physical health are deeply interconnected, and I believe patients achieve the best outcomes when providers communicate openly and approach treatment from multiple perspectives. I'm particularly interested in Being Health's commitment to evidence-informed integrative care and its thoughtful exploration of emerging and highly effective therapies, while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and individualized care.
What's your favorite thing to do for self care?
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy reading, drawing, yoga, meditation, spending time outdoors, and listening to music and going to concerts. I feel my best when I am physically active, exercising, and taking care of what I eat. I also value taking time to disconnect, spend time with friends and family, and continue learning through reading and professional education. These practices help me stay grounded so I can bring my full attention and presence to each patient.
