Hannah Rush is a Nurse Practitioner who brings a thoughtful, individualized approach to care, grounded in both clinical expertise and genuine compassion. She has been serving patients in New York since 2018, with prior experience in Alabama beginning in 2016, and focuses on evidence-based treatment tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Hannah works to create a space where patients feel safe, heard, and supported—so they can openly share their experiences and move toward meaningful change. As a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, she takes a whole-person approach to care, considering both mental and physical health throughout treatment. Her work integrates therapeutic interventions with lifestyle considerations, helping patients build sustainable habits that support overall well-being. She has experience working with a wide range of mental health conditions and values a collaborative, patient-centered approach.
Outside of her clinical work, Hannah enjoys spending time with her dog, reading, cooking, and staying active. Whether at the beach or on a hike, she prioritizes time in nature as a way to recharge—an approach she brings into her philosophy of care, supporting patients in building resilience and balance in their own lives.

I have 9 years experience working as a nurse practitioner and I’m passionate about mental wellbeing in relation to full body health. I am patient, calm, and love meeting new people and forming plans in collaboration with the patient’s specific needs.

Yes, I have extensive experience working with PTSD and stress related disorders and have training in trauma informed care. In addition to that I also have experience providing care for specific populations, including military veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, and first responders.

What do you find most interesting about Being Health's integrated care model?

What’s your favorite thing to do for self care?
Laying on a beach is number one, however, I also like hikes, being in the sunshine, reading, cooking, and exercise.
